Boiler on but radiators aren't?
I've just set up my new tado wireless smart thermostat starter kit and 2 RTVs. They're working fine in that if they're below the required temperature they can trigger the boiler (logic combi) to turn on however the radiators remain cold?
Prior to installation I had two thermostats in the house controlling different zones - is there something additionally I need to do so as to configure for this?

It sounds to me like you have a zone valve problem. In my (limited DIY) experience with tado that is likely to be caused by one of two thing:
1) You also need to make sure that each room is linked to the correct zone controller. Go into the room and then all the way to the bottom to the zone controller and make sure that is linked to whatever controls the zone valve for that room.
2) When the zone valves get old they can get a bit sticky and not open and close like they should. If you can get access to where they are then turn the heating way up so there is a demand for heat and see if you can hear them motoring. If the correct zone valve doesn't open and you've definitely got tado set up to control the correct one, then the motor in the valve might be shot. You can manually open them using a slider switch on them and they aren't too complicated to replace.
My bet is you 1) you don't have the rooms linked to the correct zone controller.0
