Tado is getting worse at tracking my location
We have the location set to ‘always’ and ‘exact location’
Has anybody noticed the same thing?
I switched from Nest to Tado 4 years ago because Nest was terrible at this and Tado has always worked 100% since day 1, now it doesn’t work anymore (and you might have not noticed)

Yes this is happening to me. Yesterday it stayed in away mode. My app was open and showed home but my wife’s phone showed away. Tado support is useless and cannot comprehend something could possibly be wrong. It means we have to micro manage the system. All was good until about 4-5 months ago.3

Just wanted to chip in to say that the same is happening with my iPhone 12 mini and my wife's iPhone 13. Geofencing has always worked perfectly for us, but now it gets stuck in Away mode until one of us opens the Tado app.
It doesn't seem to be an issue with permissions because it switches to Away mode just fine when we both have the apps closed, it only seems to be having problems switching back to Home mode.
This has only been happening for the last few days.

I've given up with GeoLocation. Too frequently I would notice the house getting cold and saw that Tado thought neither my wife nor I were at home, yet we both were. Actually open the Tado app on each iPhone and after some messing about we appeared 'at home' and the heating started.
I realise that it can all be overridden, but the point is that Tado regularly (and too often) just loses track of the devices, even when both are set to use Geolocation all the time (not just when the Tado app is running). I've no idea if the fault is with Apple or Tado, but whoever's fault it is, it's hopeless.
I ended up turning it off permanently (i.e. set to HOME) and just switching it manually when required.

Absolutely frustrating. They didn't learn anything from that ios15 disaster when their geofencing has not been working for months... blamed apple then and involved clients in extended troubleshooting instead investing in good development. Now they made an update for the app and broke it again. It is hopeless.0

This is the exact problem I am seeing - does not recognise when you come back but always tunrs heating off when you leave. Not great for home working - a few hours later my wife and I realise heating is off then have to open apps on both phones (yes they were left running) to get Tado to see we are at home.
Please Tado support - raise this to highest priority fix. We are on ios 15.3 aswell
