Limit user access / privileges

I bought Tado for my whole house 4 years ago. Friends visiting often ask about it because they want smart controls. Sadly I can't recommend Tado and point them at competitor options because simple things like this have still not been added years after being raised by users as a clear requirement. I certainly wouldn't buy Tado again. If it was possible to get my money back and start again with a different system then I would.

Tado we need an update for this. How can such a basic feature not be implemented?

I sublet a room in my house and I don’t want my tenant to be able to adjust the entire house which she unfortunately does every time I’m not at home.

There is a need for user rights in the app.
An administrator can do and change the complete setup.
But it should be possible to add users that as an example only can change temperatures within a certain range. Now, I am worried that a user who is less technical by mistake will change a parameter or delete something in the setup…

Awesome idea! I don't want my mum to break my heating, but I want geofencing to recognise her presence.

Missing user rights is THE reason why Geofencing is not working for us. Me and my partner both have (teenager) children that live 1 week in our home and the other at their other parent's home. We don't invite them in the app because we don't want them to mess with the temperatures and schedules all over the house.

So now the app is not able to detect correctly if anybody is home or not, because it only knows about the 2 of us and would turn of the heating when the children are still home.

I have 3 teenagers and don't want them to mess with the configuration, so I did not installed the app for them to use the geofencing.

Once this functionality will be given, I will enable the geofencing for all users and take the Auto Assist subscription. There is no reason to take that subscription now if I cannot limit their accesses.
