Does the display switch off & does it turn on automatically
Hi! I have two questions; thanks for your help.
- I would rather not have the display on 24/7 so there isn't a permanent light in my hallway at night. Does the Tado display switch off automatically, or can you set it to switch off?
- I also don't want it to turn on automatically when I walk past - is there an automatic sensor, and if so, can it be switched off?

The display on the thermostat is permanently off and only switches on when the button is pressed. A few seconds after interacting with the device the display will automatically switch off.
