Radiator valve says connect good but does not react to any commands

I’ve setup my kids radiator valve and it says now connected and good reception
The room is bellow the kitchen which has the boiler receiver and another radiator valve that work perfectly.

When I test the app and press say hi the valve does not react at all… and the temperature does not really change

I’ve tried to reset delete and add the valve again in the app but without changes.

Anyone has faced similar issues ?

  • I have seen the "hi" take in excess of 60 seconds to show up, if at all. I find it very unreliable.

    You'll find if you update the room temperature in the app, it can take some time for the boiler to kick in etc and the status to change to "heating" .. for my setup this is often 2-3 minutes before any change happens.

    I'd also suggest rebooting the internet bridge and extension kit (if you have one).
