Connect tado cooling V1 to homekit

I have the first generation of taco cooling and it does not have a homekit number printed on the device. How do i connect the device to my homekit??

The Tado AC V1 and V2 models are not compatible (officially) with HomeKit, this is why a version 3+ model has been released.
Tado may be able to answer as to whether they will offer a trade-up discount for existing customers.
Alternatively you could sell your existing unit e.g. on eBay and then buy a new v3 model. Or you could look in to setting up the free open source HomeBridge software on a virtual machine or Raspberry Pi. See -
