    UPDATE:

    Ich bin echt sauer über den Support von TINK, sowie auch von TADO!!!

    Am 28.11.24 habe ich die neuen Thermostate X gekauft. Funktionieren ja mit Google, habe ich gedacht…

    Aufgrund der Probleme habe ich bereits schon am 05. und am 06.12.24 Kontakt zu TINK gehabt.

    Die haben mich an den Hersteller TADO verwiesen. Das war auch noch in Ordnung.

    Lange Rede kurzer Sinn. Gestern habe ich von TADO erfahren (Auszug aus E-Mail):

    "Ohne den den kompatiblen Google Thread Border Router werden die Geräte auf Google Home leider nur als OFFLINE angezeigt."

    Also habe ich mal gegoogelt und festgestellt, dass es Google Geräte sein müssen der 2ten Genaration.

    Das stand niergends wo bei der Artikel Beschreibung.

    Ich steuere meine Google mit Google Home Mini (1. und 2. Gen.) sowie mit JBL Musik und Xiaomi Mi Smarter Lautsprecher. - Nie Probleme gehabt! Auch die Tado Thermostate V3+ liesen sich super steuern.

    Niemend nimmt sich der Sache an. TINK schreibt mir, sie können den Artikel nicht zurück nehmen weil sie sich an die Vorgaben des Herstellers halten müssen. - TADO hat so lange gebraucht mich zu unterstützen, dass nun natürlich viel Zeit vergangen ist und ich nicht mehr zurück senden kann.

    Auch aus Kulanz, keine Chance.

    Ich werde nie wieder etwas von Tado oder Tink kaufen!!

    Die Thermostate X (6 Stück) waren auch im Angebot noch recht kostpielig. Und ich habe keinen Nerv darauf noch mehr zu investieren damit ich mein Smart-Home steuern kann.

    Bin richtig wütend über deren Support. - Kann ich absolut nicht empfehlen!!!

    Sorry you're unhappy with your experience. However, we don't hide the fact that your Google Home hub options are limited to those in the Help Center. The article I have linked has been available since the launch of tado° X in spring 2024.

    Don't lose hope, your agent, Belmin, is in contact with his superior to see if there's anything we can do to compensate for the negative experience. He will keep you updated.

    It may be true that the article exists since spring 2024 but you've modified it a few weeks ago, as can be seen with the Wayback Machine, and changed one important paragraph:

    Before:

    You will need a Matter-enabled Google hub to control your tado° X devices with the Google Home app or Google Assistant.

    After:

    To control your tado° X devices with the Google Home app or Google Assistant, you’ll need a Google Home hub that supports both Thread and Wi-Fi (e.g., Nest Hub (2nd gen), Nest Hub Max, Nest Wifi Pro (Wi-Fi 6E), Google TV Streamer (4K)).

    So first it was simply any "Matter-enabled Google hub" and now you've added an additional restrictions that it suddenly can only be a "Google Home hub that supports both Thread and Wi-Fi". The first description for example would include the Google Home Mini but the second one does not, since it doesn't support the Thread protocol.

    This is a pretty big difference @Emcee !
