Faulty Thermostat

I have just got around to fitting the Tado system received via EOn and their tariff deal to discover the Smart Thermostat is faulty and doesn't work.

Just to double check we placed it in a bag, in the fridge and the thermostat stated it was 23.5 degrees - which is clearly wrong!!

What do we do to get a free replacement please?

  • If battery replacement doesn't work, you'll probably need to go back through EOn to get a replacement

  • Catfunt - Yes that is what was wrong - I contacted customer support via webchat and that was the first thing we tried. Customer Services explained that it takes a period of time and the thermostat communicating with the system several times that a low battery warning would occur - as our's was a new system it hadn't been long enough to warn us.

We also realised we were looking at out of date info about the thermostat online and there is no longer the menu system that they had originally - most commands are now via the app.

The system is up and working now. Thank you everyone.
